The most ancient
golf structure on the Reunion Island .
Located
on the west coast, the sunniest part of the island, between Etang
Salé and St Louis, the Bourbon Golf Club is the first course
build in the island . This course is a classical inland french course
among "filaos" and "eucalyptus" .

The Bourbon Golf
Course was created thanks to the passion of golf of the National
Forest Office Director in charge in 1969, who allowed the course
to be build .
The course,
its story .
First,
the fairways were firebreaks, and there were created the first 9
holes . The eighteen holes course was finished in 1991 with the
help of the Golf Architect, Michel Gayon .
Today the course spreads on 75 hectars and enables 800 members to
play .
